Begin your journey to healing.
At Adventure Psychiatry we believe everyone is on a journey and that journey looks different for everyone. Unfortunately, many of those journeys are not what one would have chosen if given the opportunity. Many have experienced trauma in their past or present contributing to anxiety, depression or other mental health difficulties. We believe everyone has the ability to overcome these traumas and to begin their adventure on a path of healing. Adventure is defined as: an unusual, exciting, bold, at times risky, experience or undertaking. The journey towards healing often isn't easy, especially in the beginning, but once you have taken that first step and keep moving forward, the rewards, healing, and the experience will be worth it all.
This is YOUR journey, YOUR adventure. We are here to partner with YOU, to walk alongside YOU in your adventure.
When you allow us to join you in your healing we partner with you by offering medication management and integrated psychotherapy.
We provide treatment for most mental health issues including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, Autism, psychotic disorders, substance use, personality disorders, ODD, conduit disorder, sleep disorders.
The initial visit is approximately 60 minutes. It will include a psychiatric evaluation and you sharing your concerns and symptoms that you are seeking assistance with. Together we will develop a treatment plan which will include your goals. Follow up visits are typical 15-30 minutes and their frequency depends on the treatment plan and with what you feel comfortable with and need. If anything new comes up or you have any concerns before the next scheduled appointment you can always contact us for a sooner appointment.
