Adventure Psychiatry provides specialized psychiatric care for children and adolescents via telehealth across Montana and Idaho, and both in-person and telehealth in Kentucky. Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Michael German focuses on helping young people and their families navigate ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral challenges, and other mental health concerns.
Children and adolescents face unique developmental, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Our approach is collaborative, conservative with medication, and centered on the individual needs of each young person and family. We work with children ages 6 and up through the teen years. We also provide care for adults.

Your child’s initial visit is a comprehensive 60-minute psychiatric evaluation. We take time to understand their history, current challenges, strengths, and family goals. Together we create a clear, personalized treatment plan. Follow-up appointments are typically 15–30 minutes and are scheduled based on your child’s needs.
We emphasize the lowest effective dose of medication when medication is indicated, and we integrate supportive, solution-focused psychotherapy and psychoeducation into visits.
